The Chosen Path Church was founded on June 2, 2014 to provide spiritual, social and educational opportunities for Jacksonville area Correllians and other local Pagans.

The Clergical Membership of the Church is dedicated to the advancement of the Correllian-Nativist Tradition but welcomes all Pagan paths to its functions with respect.

The Church holds routine rituals for all Sabbats and Esbats as the Wheel of the Year turns to worship the God and Goddess. The church also honors individual rites of passage and other special occasions deemed appropriate.

Other services provided to the local Pagan community include house cleansings, hospital visitations, child naming ceremonies, Coming of Age rites, Dedications, Handfastings (both legally binding and not), Cronings and Funerals.

The teachings provided by the Church are those of the Correllian-Nativist Church beliefs and practices, along with other topics of interest including those of non-Correllian members of the Church.

The Church strives, where appropriate, to educate the general public about Paganism and to serve as positive representatives for the Correllian-Nativist Church.

While membership to the Church is by invitation only, no person shall be denied membership in the Church because of gender, race, ethnicity, disability, marital status, sexual preference, previous religious affiliations or age, provided that they have attained the age of legal majority.

There are two categories of membership to the Church.  These are Outer Court or Inner Court members.

Outer Court membership consists of several classifications.
  1. Outer Court Member:   Persons who have applied to the Correllian-Nativist Tradition for Outer Court Membership and have received their Outer Court membership number.
  2. Dedicates: Persons who are officially dedicating themselves for a minimum of a year and a day to the Correllian-Nativist Tradition through membership in one of the officially recognized Shrines or Temples of the Tradition while studying the First Degree Clergy curriculum as put forth by the Tradition.
  3. Friends of the Church:    Persons who are not officially recognized Outer Court members by the Tradition but who are welcome to attend Church functions normally reserved to members.  Friends of the Church do not have to subscribe to the Tradition’s teachings but must be considerate of them and maintain a positive aspect of the Church.

All Inner Court members must be officially recognized as Clergy by the Church and have a documented Clergy number assigned by the Church after successfully completing all individual degree requirements.   Each Clergy member has been recognized by the Correllian-Nativist Church after completing their respective degree work which included projects, teaching classes, holding events, leading rituals, passing a backround check and passing an extensive comprehensive final exam before receiving initiation.  Each degree requires at least a year and a day to complete.
